Divine Discord

Come fight for your ideals in Divine Discord, a sociopolitical diplomatic online platformer where you can join a faction of people with shared beliefs and fight for territory and control while juggling alliances, friendships and betrayals. Divine Discord is a game made in Godot and integrated with the chat platform Discord, where leaders are every so often elected by the player base and are able to vote for rules which change the very nature of the game itself.

Controls:
WASD - Moving around

Q/LMB - Attack

Esc  - Toggle chat

E - Pick up objects

Goal:

To gain territory you need to place your faction territory markers (the coloured orbs) on pedestals. Each non-special room has a pedestal, placing a marker on top of it claims the room as your faction's, updates the scoreboard on the left and changes the colour of the room. To claim an already claimed room, just remove the current orb from the pedestal and replace it with yours.

Players through the Discord can vote on demigods and internal gamerules, demigods vote for external gamerules, changing the course of the game for everyone. While internal gamerules are faction specific and change certain things about the inner workings of the factions and electing your respective demigods.
